Privacy Policy
We try to hold as little personal data as possible. This page explains exactly what we collect and what we do with it.
Last updated May 2026.
Who we are
This site is operated by Amurr Ltd, a company registered in England & Wales. Our registered office is at 2 Cobden Mews, 90 The Broadway, Wimbledon, London, SW19 1RH. Company number: [to be added]. Amurr Ltd is the data controller for any personal data collected through amurr.co.uk.
What we collect
- Waitlist signups. Your email address, the page you submitted it from, the time of submission, your user agent, and a hashed version of your IP address (used for abuse review).
- Contact form submissions. Your name, email address, message, your user agent, and your IP address (for abuse review).
- Analytics. We use Plausible to count pageviews on amurr.co.uk. Plausible is cookieless, does not collect personal data, and does not track visitors across sites. No advertising or third-party tracking cookies are used on this site.
How we use it
- To respond to your enquiry, or to contact you when the first batch of hats is ready.
- To keep the site working and to spot abuse (rate-limiting, spam filtering).
How long we keep it
Waitlist emails are kept until you ask us to delete them, or until the waitlist is retired. Contact form messages are kept for up to two years after the last contact, then deleted.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your data. We share it only with the small set of service providers we need to run the site (our hosting and database providers). We will share data with UK authorities if required by law.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you have the right to access, correct, or request deletion of any personal data we hold about you. To exercise any of these rights, email us at info@amurr.co.uk.
Future tracking
If we add session-replay tools or any other tracking that uses cookies or collects personal data, we will update this page and re-introduce a consent banner before they go live.
Changes
If we update this policy in any meaningful way we will update the date at the top of this page. This is a first-pass policy and will be reviewed by counsel before launch.
